This will include supporting the Firefighter of the Year Award as well as insurance costs for the Emergency Canteen to rehab firefighters at the scenes of emergencies and fire. Box 22 Associates, Inc. is organized as a Civic League, Section 501 (c) (4), within the meaning of the Internal Revenue Code, to assist in the operation and welfare of fire departments in New Haven and surrounding communities. A donation to Box 22 Associates would help to perpetuate and maintain our Firefighters Emergency Canteen Unit which is available to the firefighters of New Haven and surrounding communities and to support our efforts to create a permanent archive to preserve and protect the valuable legacy of photographs and memorabilia associated with the New Haven Fire Dept.
